Our Team

Welcome to Michael and Maizie's Double F Metal Art Ranch, located in Kerrville, Texas. We are located in the Texas Hill Country.  We are 50 miles south of Houston.  Michael previously owned and operated a Fab Shop for many years.  He has also done a lot of welding on most any material you can imagine.  His experiences make him very qualified to do precision quality metal work.  If you are looking for quality workmanship, look no further.

    Michael is now an Industrial Technology Education "Shop" teacher at Fredericksburg Middle School. His hobbies are restoring old Willys and hunting and fishing. Maizie is a retired Physical Education teacher and her hobbies are gardening, watching hummingbirds, seashell collecting and taking care of Michael. We have 4 wonderful children between us, and 6 beautiful grandchildren.
    All artwork is created with plasma cutting.  Michael has worked with plasma and welding machines for over 30 years.  Some products are painted and some are heat treated for color, which gives the item a One of a Kind color.  We use we heavy gauge material for quality.  Many hours have been spent creating some of our pieces so that you get an original design.  Michael has worked on and revised art pieces so that you get a quality piece.  Many pieces are scraped because they do not pass Michael's high level of excellence.
